Shimonya (Akihabara)

Shimonya is an izakaya in Akihabara, a four-minute walk from the Showadori exit of Akihabara Station. It serves yakiton and yakitori grilled over binchotan charcoal, along with motsuni, and also offers rebagomasio and harami. Kinmiya plum-infused shochu is limited to three glasses per person. Seating is cramped and the interior is loud.
