Toshi Hambagu in Sapporo serves soft hambagu steak. The demi-glace, toshi, and sanwasabi hambagu are brought out sizzling on a hot plate with a pre-meal salad and onion. Customers write their name out front and wait, and at the entrance the hambagu size is confirmed before the detailed order is placed again at the table. Phone reservations are taken only for the first lunch seating at 11:30 and the first dinner seating at 17:30, and the wait runs around an hour.
