Ramen Shingen is a small ramen shop at the Minami 6-jo intersection in Sapporo, serving mainly rich miso ramen. Spicy miso ramen and shio ramen can be ordered with corn and butter toppings, and fried rice and gyoza are also available. A line forms before dinner service, with waits of one to two hours at night, while between 3 and 4 p.m. people have walked straight in. The broth is deep and rich, but the saltiness runs strong.
