Nemuro Hanamaru Miredo is a conveyor-belt sushi restaurant near Sapporo Station that serves thick cuts of raw fish and sushi. Diners choose scallop sushi, eel, scallops, and salmon roe by menu number and write them on an order form. At the entrance, you take a numbered ticket and scan a QR code, which updates your waiting number every 30 seconds. During peak hours, the wait runs over an hour.
