Sakanoue

Sakanoue is a ryokan in the quiet old streets of Gion, within walking distance of Kiyomizu-dera. A Japanese breakfast with kaiseki elements is served in the dining room, and beer and sake are provided in the guest rooms. The family bath is reserved at the front desk for 45 minutes, and guest rooms have a bath with a hinoki scent. The facilities are old and the carpet has stains.
