Gion-Kinpyo

Gion-Kinpyo is a ryokan in Kyoto's historic Gion district where guests rent an entire machiya that retains the appearance of Kyoto in 1810. Meals can be arranged as demae catering, and a sake bath and yukata are provided. Check-in works by calling the owner through the intercom, after which the owner comes from next door and explains how to use the house. The location is quiet and close to a convenience store.
