DoubleTree by Hilton Kyoto Higashiyama is a hotel on Gojo Street, about a 20-minute walk from Kiyomizu-dera. Breakfast offers a limited selection, but each dish is prepared well, and the guest rooms are finished in a Japanese-style wood tone. A large bath is on the lobby floor, and the guest room bathrooms have a bathtub and shower separated. There are not many restaurants near the hotel, so eating out requires a walk of about 15 minutes.
