Le Bac à Sable

Le Bac à Sable is a bakery in Kyoto's Higashiyama Ward that sells bread, quiche, and tarts made by a French baker. It is a one-minute walk from the exit of Higashiyama Station. The shop opens at 8 a.m. Customers choose from banana chocolate tart, croissants, and several kinds of quiche, and can eat inside at the back. The selection and quantity of bread are limited, and only cash is accepted.
