Key's Cafe

Key's Cafe sits below the pagoda between Yasaka Shrine and Kiyomizu-dera, in the Sannenzaka and Ninenzaka area of Kyoto. It serves Illy coffee, lattes, cappuccinos, matcha bread and soft ice cream, with caramel latte and mild green tea latte also on the menu. The small space plays quiet jazz, and the owner couple use a translation app to answer questions; the restroom is clean. Seating is limited so there can be a wait, and the coffee is weak for those who prefer a strong brew.
