Kagizen Yoshifusa Shijo Honten is a traditional Japanese confectionery in Shijo, Kyoto, serving kuzukiri and warabimochi. The kuzukiri is made by setting kudzu starch and cutting it into noodle-like strips, eaten dipped in brown sugar syrup, and the shop also offers mizuyokan and matcha. Around midday, customers take a numbered ticket from a tablet at the entrance and wait about 10 to 30 minutes before staff guide them to a seat inside. The kuzukiri portion is large for a dessert, so two people often share one order.
