Itoh Kyuemon - Kiyomizu-zaka

Itoh Kyuemon - Kiyomizu-zaka is a matcha shop in Sannenzaka, in the Kiyomizudera area. It sells matcha ice cream, matcha drinks, and matcha gifts. The brand has produced Uji tea since the Edo period, and staff offer tea tastings in the store, where matcha powder and sweets are also for sale. There is no seating for eating ice cream inside, so eating while walking is awkward.
