GOKAGO

GOKAGO is a matcha cafe on the main street near Kiyomizudera in Kyoto, serving matcha latte and matcha ice cream latte. Staff whisk the matcha to order in front of you, and matcha donuts and hojicha latte are also available. After receiving a number ticket, you go to the pickup counter when your number is called and watch the drink being made. Waits can be long: one case took 20 minutes to order and 30 minutes for the drink to come out.
