Fujinami Kodai-ji Temple Store

Fujinami Shimizu Kodaiji is a Japanese dessert shop in Higashiyama, Kyoto. Mitarashi dango is grilled to order and served with soy sauce and soybean flour, and matcha and warabi mochi are also sold. Orders are coated in sauce and grilled on the spot, and there are no tables. Customers eat from chairs and benches, standing to wait or sitting briefly.
