Colorado

Colorado is a retro cafe in Kyoto's Gion, one block from Yasaka Shrine and next to the Yoshimoto Gion venue. It serves beef tendon curry, mixed sandwiches, banana juice, yuja tea, and matcha pudding, and the coffee is deep and bitter. Tables at the back are kept reserved for comedians waiting to perform, and many autographs hang on the walls. The interior has no separate smoking area, so cigarette smoke bothers non-smokers.
