Hon no Jikan is a book cafe in a renovated old house in the Midoribashi residential area of Osaka, where guests spend time reading alone. It serves drinks and desserts such as cafe au lait, pudding, and seasonal fruit parfaits. The cafe follows a no-talking rule, and guests can focus on a book for about three hours at a single seat. Every seat is for one person, so there is no place to sit facing a companion.
