Hapcheon Okjeon Gobungun, on the hill behind Hapcheon Museum, is a national heritage site with tombs from the Gaya period. The tombs are listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site and stand across a broad grass field with well-maintained surroundings. The tomb interiors are not open to the public, but Hapcheon Museum has models showing their structure, and parking is free. The uphill path to the summit is strenuous.
