Bandang is a tteokbokki restaurant in a back alley between Itaewon Station and Hangangjin Station in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. It serves instant tteokbokki with thick rice cakes, glass noodles, ramen, potato starch cakes, fish cakes and vegetables, cooked about 90 percent through so the table cooking time is short. The broth is left in the pan so fried rice can be added at the end, and sides such as myeongnan egg roll and fried squid are ordered alongside. Added fried items or sari can arrive late or be missed from the order.
