Chaekbang Sorisomun

Chaeksang Sorisomun is an independent bookstore in Jeoji-ri, Jeju, near Jeoji Oreum. It sells Jeju books and titles that are hard to find in general bookstores, arranged by theme from popular subjects to Jeju-specific works, along with blind books whose contents are hidden. It was the first Korean bookstore selected for "150 Bookstores You Must Visit Before You Die" by the Belgian publisher Lannoo Publishers, and visitors can also try transcription. The parking lot holds about six or seven cars, so when visitors crowd in, cars park along the roadside nearby.
