Eongal Coast

Engal Coast runs about 2 km from below Suwolbong in Gosa-ri, Hangyeong-myeon, Jeju, to the Chagwido port, with a coastal walking path and a geological trail. Along the shoreline, sedimentary cliffs and columnar joints are visible up close, and the route follows Jeju Olle Trail Course 12. Suwolbong stands 77 m high, and the coastal cliff holds a tunnel position dug by Japanese forces during the Pacific War, with Chagwido also in view. There is no dedicated parking lot, so cars must be parked on the narrow road beside the fields or near Suwolbong.
