Geomdansan is a 657-meter peak in Hanam that hikers reach from Hanam Geomdansan Station. From the summit, views extend to Paldang Dam, Yangsuri, Yebongsan, downtown Hanam, Seoul, and the direction of Dumulmeori, and vendors sell eomuk, ice cream, drinks, and makgeolli. The main trail from Hanam Geomdansan Station takes about two hours to the top and two to three hours round trip, with a public parking lot and restrooms at the entrance. The descent continues over stone steps and gravel paths, where ankles can easily be twisted.
