Dali Chaekbang is an independent bookstore and cafe in Hallim, Jeju, that carries independent publications, including books on feminism and diversity. You can order drinks such as Jeju green tea latte or buy a book and read at the shelves. It opens at 1 p.m. from Wednesday to Sunday, and each book has a recommendation note from the owner attached. Changing into indoor shoes on entry is a hassle.
