Kyuchaya Tei

Kyuchayatei in Hakodate is a café serving matcha, coffee, and desserts such as pudding and yokan. When you order matcha, you can choose a teacup from the display, and the matcha and wagashi set also comes with a small sherbet. The quiet old tea house has a Japanese-style exterior evoking the Showa and Taisho eras, along with European furniture and stained glass. Prices are on the high side.
