Nagahama Number One Gion Store

Nagahama Number One Gion is a tonkotsu ramen shop a one-minute walk from Gion Station in Fukuoka. The broth is rich but low in greasiness and salt, and the thin noodles are served straight, with egg ramen and takana ramen as the signature dishes. The shop opened in 1971, the 46th year of Showa, and orders are placed using a Korean-language photo menu. It takes cash only, and waiting 10 to 30 minutes is possible past opening time. The gyoza is ordinary.
