Hakata Noodle Street

Hakata Menkaido is a ramen street on the second floor of Deitos at Hakata Station in Fukuoka, with multiple ramen and tsukemen shops. Each shop differs in style and flavor, from tonkotsu, shoyu, and miso ramen to the tsukemen at Menya Kanetora. Menya Kanetora's tsukemen is eaten by dipping cold, chewy noodles into a thick bonito stock, and the broth in front is added to adjust the concentration. On weekends and during meal times, waits can run from 15 minutes to over 30 minutes.
