Hakata Bus Terminal sits north of the west exit of Hakata Station, where travellers buy tickets and board city and intercity buses. The intercity ticket counter and boarding area are on the third floor, and Hita-bound buses use the blue B ticket machines and boarding bay 34. Floor colour markings and Japanese and English signs guide passengers, and tickets can also be bought from machines. The waiting area and boarding space are small.
