Welby Fukuoka is a men-only capsule hotel and sauna a 10-15 minute walk from Hakata Station and directly in front of Kushida Shrine-mae Station. It has a main sauna, a forest sauna, a one-person garafuro, an ice sauna, and a cold water bath at 8-9 degrees. Breakfast runs from 6:30 to 10 a.m. with rice and miso soup available for one refill each, and checkout is by 11 a.m. The bathing area has only one 40-degree tub, so it does not suit those expecting a large pool.
