Obanjang is a meat restaurant in the middle of the hotel district in Haeundae, Busan, where pork and beef are grilled over charcoal. Diners grill galmaegisal, samgyeopsal, and pork jowl, and the doenjang jjigae comes in a gang-doenjang style with rice and a fried egg. In the evening the wait can run 30 to 40 minutes, and the compartment next to the grill is used to cook gyeranjjim along with kimchi, bean sprouts, and garlic. Tables indoors are placed close together.
