Hwangok Gongju Ineo Sang is a mermaid statue on the coastal walkway of Dongbaekseom in Busan, by the sea next to the Westin Josun Busan Hotel. It was first erected in 1974, lost to a typhoon in 1987, and rebuilt in 1989. Two paths lead down to the statue, with benches and an explanation of the mermaid, and views of Haeundae and the sea from sunrise through day and night. The statue itself is not large.
