Somaek Bakery

Somaek Bakery is a cafe in Gwangju that sells bread and coffee, and it also has a branch inside Shinsegae Department Store. Its kong cream bread is a chewy bread with injeolmi flavor, and the 72-layer milk bread comes in a version with cream and a version without. It began in 1982 as a small neighborhood bakery and has grown to more than eight directly operated stores nationwide, and it was featured on episode 645 of Master of Life. Seating inside the store is about two tables, so it focuses on takeout.
