Deungchon

Deungchon is a shabu-shabu restaurant in Mareuk-dong, Gwangju. Diners blanch minari and vegetables in the broth, then finish the meal with kalguksu and bokkeumbap. The vegetable bar offers unlimited refills, and the restaurant is about an eight-minute walk from Mareuk Station. Only spicy broth is served, so the taste may not suit those who prefer a clear soup.
