Gungjeon Bakery

Gungjeon Jegwa Chungjangjeom is a bakery on Chungjang-ro in Gwangju that sells breads including nabipai and gongryongal ppang. Its representative items are gongryongal ppang, a baguette filled with egg salad, and nabipai, which has a layered texture, and churros, danpat ppang, and angbeoteo are also available. It opens at 10 a.m. and gongryongal ppang comes out around 11:30 a.m., and bread bought there can be eaten with drinks and bingsu in the second-floor cafe. Because it is in the Chungjang-ro commercial district, there is no separate parking lot, so going by car is inconvenient.
