Peace Park sits in the middle of the road in front of Gwangju City Hall in the Sangmu district. With many offices and restaurants nearby, people use it as a walking path after meals, and one loop is about 1 kilometer. In April, fringe trees and royal azaleas bloom, and in winter the space becomes a skating rink. A rubber smell rises from the walking path and is noticeable.
