Geumnamno Park is a small urban park in front of Exit 1 of Geumnamno 4-ga Station in Gwangju. At the former site of the old Bank of Korea, the park has plants, landscape lighting, and sculpture exhibits commemorating the May 18 Democratic Uprising. Video art performances are shown on a large screen, and there is a public restroom. It is designated a smoke-free park, but smokers and cigarette butts are common.
