Théâtre des Lumières

Theater of Light is a media art exhibition hall on the basement first floor of Walkerhill Hotel in Gwangjang-dong, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, showing artworks on large screens with music. Themes change by session, including Pharaoh's Egypt, Gustav Klimt, and Dali and Gaudi, and visitors sit at various points around the circular main hall to watch. The Pharaoh's Egypt long show runs about 35 minutes, and a short show covering the works of artist Lee Ungno runs about 15 minutes. A passage connects the hotel to the parking garage on basement level three. Sessions with bright surroundings make it hard to focus on the video.
