Ongnyeon Seonwon

Ongnyeon Seonwon is a Buddhist temple on Baeksan, behind Millak Elementary School in Millak-dong, Busan, and is home to bhikkhuni nuns. A large Buddha statue stands above the temple, and the view from Baeksan looks down over Gwangalli and the Gwangandaegyo Bridge. Ongnyeon Yuchiwon kindergarten is on the same grounds, and the temple stays quiet with little city noise even in the middle of the city. The slope up Baeksan is steep, so walking from a car parked below is difficult.
