Uldolmok Jumeok Gogi is a meat restaurant in the food alley near Guui Station in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, serving jumeok gogi and pork jowl. The thick cuts are dipped in ssamjang mixed with salted hairtail innards and salted anchovy, and served with freshwater shrimp doenjang jjigae, house-made cabbage kimchi, and perilla leaf muchim. The restaurant has run for 23 years, and the meat must be turned often over a low flame. There is no parking, and pork skin is served free with alcohol orders; the weak flame makes the meat take a long time to cook, and the small staff means orders are slow to be taken.
