Sangol Dakgalbi

Sangoldakgalbi serves traditional cheolpan dakgalbi near Gangbyeon Station in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul. Large seasoned chicken is grilled with cabbage, sweet potato, and rice cakes, and bokkeumbap is ordered when about a third of the dakgalbi remains. The meat comes raw and takes about 20 minutes to cook, so customers call ahead to order and the owner grills it until done. The basic side dishes are simple.
