Sayuwon is a mountain arboretum and garden for contemplation in Daegu, laid out along a valley and ridge on the slopes of Palgongsan in Gunwi. At its center is Pungseol Gicheonnyeon, home to 108 three-hundred-year-old quince trees, with buildings such as Soyoheon and Myeongjeong nearby. Opened in 2021, the site covers 210,000 pyeong, and visitors walk it with a map, passing an observation deck and a pond. Summer heat makes walking the slopes difficult.
