Sehwa Folk Oil Market is a traditional market on Jeju's east side that opens by Sehwa Beach on the 5th and 10th of each month, selling fish, fruit, vegetables and household goods. Hairtail, mackerel and tilefish (okdom) are sold alongside golden tangerine, red kiwi and shine muscat by the piece, and tteokbokki, fried food, sundae gukbap and bingtteok are also available to eat. Market days start at 7 a.m. and usually end around 1 p.m., with a restroom at the entrance and bank transfer accepted. There is no separate parking lot, so the roads around the market are congested on market days.
