Byeolbangjin is a Joseon-era coastal defense site over 500 years old, located beside the Hado-ri port in Jeju. Its high basalt walls and canola flower fields together resemble a fortress. Parking is available in a small lot, and from the top of the walls Hado-ri and the port are visible at a glance. On windy days, taking photographs is difficult.
