Gimcheon City Museum sits next to Samyeongdaesa Park and Jikjisa Temple, and covers the history and culture of Gimcheon. Its exhibits run from Paleolithic stone knives and comb-pattern pottery through the Proto-Three Kingdoms and medieval periods to the modern era. The building holds Exhibition Halls 1 and 2, a special exhibition room, a children's experience center, and video for children. The exhibition space is not large, so the amount on view can feel limited.
