Haeinsa is a Buddhist temple in Hapcheon on Gaya Mountain, over 1,200 years old and home to the Tripitaka Koreana. The Janggyeong Panjeon, a UNESCO World Heritage site, holds 81,352 woodblocks of the Tripitaka Koreana. From the Seongbo Museum parking lot, the walk to the temple takes 10 to 20 minutes. On weekdays at 2 p.m., a 30- to 40-minute guided explanation of Haeinsa and the Tripitaka Koreana is given.
