Hwagok Seonji Haejangguk

Hwagok Seonji Haejanggu is a local gukbap restaurant in Hwagok-dong, Seoul, that serves seonji haejanggu. The broth is made with yang, gopchang, seonji, ugeoji and kongnamul, and is boiled without chili oil. The broth can be refilled, and kongnamul is brought out in extra portions on request. The kimchi is sometimes underwhelming because it is under-seasoned or not fully fermented.
