Halmae Kalguksu is a noodle shop in Seoul that has been serving kalguksu since the 1980s. Its kaljebi comes with hand-torn sujebi in a thick anchovy broth, and its bibim kalguksu is mixed with perilla seed powder and seaweed powder for a spicy-sweet flavor. Cooking starts after ordering, so the kaljebi can take more than 10 minutes, and well-fermented yeolmu kimchi is served as a side dish. The shop has only eight tables and does not have ample parking.
