Gaehwasanjang is an old Korean restaurant on the hill behind Gaehwa Elementary School, a five-minute walk from Gaehwa Station in Seoul. It serves duck jumulleok and grilled eel, and the duck jumulleok comes with plenty of perilla leaf and can be ordered with cheese bokkeumbap. Seating is divided between the inside of the building and a converted vinyl greenhouse, and a reservation gets you a cool room. The portions of duck are on the small side.
