Gungsan Ttanggul History Museum is a Japanese colonial-era military tunnel exhibition space behind Gungsan and Gyeomjae Jeongseon Art Museum in Gayang-dong, Gangseo-gu. In the 1940s, Japan forcibly mobilized residents to dig it for storing weapons and ammunition and for monitoring Gimpo Airfield. Discovered in 2008, the 68-meter-long remains take about five minutes to view after descending the stairs. Entry into the tunnel itself is not permitted due to the risk of falling rocks.
