Yeongjin Beach

Yeongjin Beach sits between Jumunjin and Sacheonhang in Gangneung, where visitors swim and fish. The breakwater next to Yeongjinhang blocks the waves and the water is shallow, which suits children, and cafes and restaurants line the beach. On clear days the sunrise is visible, and people fish year-round from the Yeongjinhang breakwater while casting nets in the brackish area. It is quieter than Gyeongpo Beach and was a filming location for the drama Dokkaebi.
