Wolhwajeong

Wolhwajeong is a pavilion on Namdaecheon in Gangneung. It carries the love story of Muwolrang and Lady Yeonhwa, and was a place for enjoying music and poetry while looking out over the stream. A flat walking path runs along the area, and Wolhwa Bridge connects to Jungang Market within five minutes. At night, the lights and the sunset over Namdaecheon are visible, though the surroundings are narrow with modern housing right next to the pavilion.
