The start of Haeparang-gil Course 39 sits at Namhangjin Beach in Gangneung. It is a spot for watching the sunrise, and sunset can also be seen from Solbaram Bridge toward Anmok. A quiet walk is possible along the haesong forest, and the sea is clear. The Namhangjin fishing village side continues into a secluded walking path.
