Gangneung Wolhwa Street is a 2.6 km walking park built on the old Yeongdong Line railway between Gangneung Station and Buheung Village. It takes its name from the love story of Muwolrang and Yeonhwa Buin, and cafes, restaurants and sculptures line its nine sections. About 20 night market food stalls open every Friday and Saturday, with food eaten at empty seats at nearby tables. It borders Jungang Market, so the area is crowded with parking lots and food customers.
